"scenario": "AV:N - ksmbd is the in-kernel SMB server; the bug is reached by sending SMB2_QUERY_INFO over TCP/445 after tree-connecting to IPC$, so a remote network peer triggers it with no local access.\nAC:L - The attacker simply tree-connects to the IPC$ pipe share and issues SMB2_QUERY_INFO with InfoType=SMB2_O_INFO_FILESYSTEM; share->path is always NULL for KSMBD_SHARE_FLAG_PIPE shares, so the NULL deref is deterministic with no race or uncontrolled precondition.\nPR:N - IPC$ is the classic SMB null-session target, and ksmbd's commonly shipped map-to-guest configuration lets an unauthenticated client obtain a guest session, tree-connect IPC$, and reach smb2_get_info_filesystem() without valid credentials.\nUI:N - The attacker drives negotiate, session setup, IPC$ tree connect, and QUERY_INFO entirely from its own SMB client; no victim or administrator action is required beyond ksmbd already listening.\nS:U - The NULL dereference oops/panic affects only the host kernel running ksmbd and does not cross a VM, IOMMU, or other security-authority boundary.\nC:N - This is a pure NULL pointer dereference in getname_kernel()/strlen on share->path; no out-of-bounds read or other disclosure primitive is obtained.\nI:N - The fault is a read of address 0 with no memory write, type confusion, or control-flow hijack path beyond the ensuing oops.\nA:H - Dereferencing the NULL share->path causes a kernel oops/panic in the ksmbd worker (as shown by the KASAN null-ptr-deref report), which is a full availability impact that a remote attacker can repeat at will."
