"scenario": "AV:A - The bug is in mac80211 station teardown (`__sta_info_destroy_part1`) for WiFi soft-MAC drivers; an adjacent peer can trigger create/destroy of a non-uploaded STA via SoftAP auth timeout/deauth or a failed client assoc to an evil AP on the same radio segment.\nAC:L - On mt76 devices using legacy `sta_add` (mt7615/mt7915/mt7996), a STA at AUTH/NONE is not uploaded, and attacker-controlled auth-then-disconnect or assoc failure/timeout deterministically hits `drv_sta_pre_rcu_remove` with zeroed `drv_priv`\u2014no race or layout dependency.\nPR:N - Over-the-air station lifecycle on SoftAP/hotspot or association failure requires no account or capability on the victim host; frames and AP responses drive hostapd/mac80211 teardown without OS credentials.\nUI:N - Once SoftAP/hotspot is running (phones, routers, IoT), or the client auto-reconnects, the attacker triggers STA destroy solely by auth/assoc failure paths with no further victim action.\nS:U - Corruption is confined to the host kernel mac80211/driver station tables; there is no VM escape, IOMMU bypass, or other cross-authority boundary crossing.\nC:N - The defect only incorrectly NULLs an RCU wcid table entry (`dev->wcid[0]` for zeroed `drv_priv`); it provides no out-of-bounds read, UAF read, or other disclosure primitive.\nI:L - Calling `mt76_sta_pre_rcu_remove` on a non-uploaded STA corrupts driver state by clearing `wcid[0]` (often the global/first station entry)\u2014a bounded, fixed NULL write to one table slot, not an arbitrary write or control-flow hijack primitive.\nA:H - Corrupting the live wcid lookup table leaves the driver with inconsistent station state that can oops/panic on subsequent RX/TX status paths using the cleared entry, and an adjacent peer can repeat the auth/destroy cycle to sustain DoS."
